Has the idea of freelancing, starting a design collective or studio, or applying your creative skills on interesting projects with a variety of organisations crossed your mind when you’re thinking of what you’ll do when you finish your studies? Well, Formation Zone is here to share with you our experience with the many new businesses in the creative industries that we’ve helped get started.

We’ll talk through some of the common hurdles and issues as well as the benefits and freedom that working for yourself provides. Not only that, you’ll hear from one of our recent graduates from the faculty who has started their own creative business and get to find out what that has been like for them so far as well as see some of their work.

You’ll leave this session having gained an insight to starting a creative business after you graduate, what issues you may need to consider and where you can go to get support.
